Easter Egg Bunny

To make your own cute little Mini Easter Bunny with this simple Mini Easter Egg Bunny Crochet Pattern using the plastic containers from a Kinder Egg, so its a good excuse to go and buy one.

Pattern

Top

Mr 6. Working in a round.

Rnd 1: 2dc in each stitch. 12sts.

Rnd 2: *1dc in first st, 2dc in next st*, repeat * 5 times to end. 18sts.

Rnd 3: *1dc in first st, 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st*, repeat * 5 times to end. 24sts.

Rnd 4 – 7: 1dc in each st to end. 24sts. Cast off.

Bottom

Mr 6. Working in a round.

Rnd 1: 2dc in each stitch. 12sts.

Rnd 2: *1dc in first st, 2dc in next st*, repeat * 5 times to end. 18sts.

Rnd 3: *1dc in first st, 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st*, repeat* 5 times to end. 24sts.

Rnd 4 – 10: 1dc in each st to end. 24sts. Cast off.

Ears (make 2)

Mr 6. Working in a round.

Rnd 1: 2dc in each stitch. 12sts.

Rnd 2: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 11sts.

Rnd 3: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 10sts.

Rnd 4: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 9sts.

Rnd 5: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 8sts.

Rnd 6: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 7sts.

Rnd 7: 1dc2tog, 1dc in each st to end. 6sts. Cast off.

Finishing

Cover the top and bottom of the plastic egg and sew together halfway around. Sew the ears to the top. Sew a face and tail using the appropriate colour.
